Alejandro Fernández (born May 16, 1993, Quintanar de la Orden) is a Spanish DJ and producer. This precocious young artist began to experiment a powerful attraction for electronic music when he was 12 years old. At that moment, he decided to purchase the basic equipment of a beginner to play and to commit always with his hobby, his passion, and ultimately that it would mark his life: the techno in all his aspects.

Influenced by artists like Derrick May, Kenny Larkin, Richie Hawtin, Danny Tenaglia, Jeff Mills and the most important nowadays: Marco Bailey, Adam Beyer, Marco Carola, Chris Liebing, Oscar Mulero, etc; Alejandro Fernández began to emulate them with only 15 years old. Then, he began his residency in a disco of his town, called “El Mono Negro”, and in other disco called “The Black Monkey” too, where that young artist began to settle down his career bases with the support of his friend Jesús Riaño. Alejandro learned a lot about cabins thanks to him.

His age wasn’t an impediment. Alejandro had visited a lot of clubs in his region like Family Club (Sonseca), and other clubs in Madrid, Segovia, Ibiza and several nonprofit events where he has shared cabins and posters with artists like Joseph Capriati, Marcos in Dub, Alberto Pascual, Ron Costa, Ramiro López, Jesús Riaño, etc…

Precocity was not only in his role as a DJ. It was also present in his beginnings with production, because with only 16 years old, he made his first pieces. With 17, he published his first reference in Chili Records: Palangana EP, dedicated entirely to Alejandro’s tracks and his remixes. Simultaneously, he formed part of Specktral Blue, Colombian seal who keeps a support offered by artists like Claue Von Stroke, Danilo Vigorito, Paco Osuna or Audiojack. At that moment, he made his better work: Little EP. That work was the 26 of the top 100 of Beatport, concerning the minimal-techno music. Alejandro shared ranking with artists like John Gaiser (with his Some Slip), Valentino Kanzyani (with his Holi Revolver) or the remix of Carlo Lio for Nick and Danny Chatelain (Backspin).
Later, he has published his EP “Lunares Constantes” in 808 Recordings, a work which the artists and the critics have liked , showing the support received by electronics gurus like Richie Hawtin, Dany Tenaglia, Paco Osuna, Mr. Bizz, Someone Else, Edgar de Ramó, Hermanez, Daniel Sánchez, David Amo & Julio Navas, etc…

Big artists like Richie Hawtin, Sam Paganini , Markus Fix , Shlomi Aber, Yaya o Marco Carola have reproduced his tracks. Richie was the first who did it in his session Enter (Space, Ibiza), Cocoon Club (Frankfurt) Sunwaves (Romania), Space Closing Party Ibiza 2012, etc. While Sam and Marco have reproduced it opening set whit Mery (one of his tracks more sounded) in podcasts, or in Clorophillia Club (Castellaneta, Italy) in case of Marco Carola.

Nowadays, he has worked with new project too, and it doesn’t look that the rhythm will go down. Now at his 19, he is in a frenetic rhythm of ascent which is predominated by a principle: growing as an artist and person, always with techno, the optimism and love for the music which are the principal ingredients of his recipe.
