Biography

Dave Martins was born in 1975.
He discovered the world of music already at a young age influenced by many various famous artists in the dance panorama of the 80ies and 90ies. When the electronic music came into the international scene, his interest for music became a full on passion.

The young DJ started performing live in the main clubs of the Italian part of Switzerland first, and in the whole country next. It’s only after meeting the DJ, and then friend, Kenny Ground, in year 2000, that Dave got his real first chance. Along with Kenny they founded a small home-studio production in a underground garage. Dave started spend his whole time between text books, operating manuals and practical applications sharpening his musical knowledge but, more important, setting the ground for a future record label. In 2007 him and Kenny co-founded the “GrooveLab Production ltda”, not only to produce music but also for social aims. That’s when they moved out from the underground garage. For 2 years he worked hard, looking for a valuable product to propose in a larger context. At the same time, along with Kenny, created the organizational and strategically set-up for what became the “SouthPark Records”.
This Swiss record label was born in May 2009 and they released “Road to Madrid”. Dave, after 5 years, is ever busy in various record projects and works together with Swiss and international artists. He mainly works and produce for “SouthPark Records” and “Marionnettes Records” but he also cooperates with “Something Different Records”, “Caballero Recordings”, “Funnwork Records”, “Expectancy Records”, “Flappers Records” and many others…

In 2013 Dave and other 5 friends launched a new label called “Marionnettes Records”. This label will be exclusive!

Dave continues his hard work with the music, with his production and his remixes.

We could talk about all his awards and recognitions nationally and worldwide; He is the only Spanish DJ included in the Top 100 DJ’s of the British DJ Mag, he is the only Spanish DJ who has done two “Essential Mix” on the BBC1, he performs over 150 gigs annually worldwide, and we can’t forget all his recompilations and productions published by the best labels on the market…

NTFO from Romania are one of the newcomers of the year because many big artists like Richie Hawtin, Marco Carola or Thomas Schumacher supporting their music since a longer time and also charted their tracks like Richie Hawtin did in his Beatport charts of July 2009 on #2!
Their track NTFO – Filter reached #4 at the Beatport minimal charts! With their NTFO Adjective track they landed again a little hit and now they also released on known labels like Diynamic or Einmaleins. We are sure they will be big, pretty fast.

DJ and electronic music producer, Ron Costa is an ambitious character.
… Starting around teen years ago by animating parties, later on proving his abilities with a residence in “the smallest club of Paris” he is now art director for 3 clubs/pubs in Paris, resident DJ and, if that was not enough is started his own Label “POTOBOLO records”.
He started being passionate about the thing since he was kid, starting with Funk and Disco and evolving toward more electronic based sounds, particularly House & Techno music. With time, he’s ears got attracted to everything that sounded different and could give him original and unexpected feelings.
With time he realises he was more attracted to sound rather than music in general. He’s main goal is to get the groove and he make minimal beats but the sounds remains house / techno like. Today, many dj’s and producers do remix business with him for his groovy, hype and effective sound.

Riding on a narrow path between Minimal, House and Techno and with his Hip Hop related roots, M.A. is consequently playing for the hips. Biography

Federico Aniello aka Hollen was born in Naples on 25/07/1988. Since he was a child was struck and fascinated by music, then growing,when he was 14, became interested in electronic music.

At 15 years old bought his first console and began to learn the basic techniques of DJing. In recent years he started to play at parties in his country thus began to have an approach with the public. Later knew Dj’s and producers of electronic music which illustrate the field of producing, and so he began to have his first approaches with the various software to produce music.

After several experiences had the opportunity to play at important private dinners and parties with international DJ’s as: Josh Wink, Dave Ellesmere aka Microfunk,Rino Cerrone, Dj Simi,Mikael Stavostrand and many others. Over time his sound has grown a lot and nowadays his style is very eclectic with house,tech house, techno and funk nuances tendencies . Its characterized by: Umek, Christian Smith, Spektre, Mark Broom,Alex Celler,Danny Serrano,Martin Eyerer,Paco Osuna, Richie Hawtin, Dubfire, Nic Fanciulli,Steve Lawler, Loco Dice,Mendo, 2000 and One,Wehbba, Adam Beyer, Chris Liebing, SpeedyJ, Paul Ritch, Joris Voorn and many others.

Over the years began to produce its own tracks and some have been released on labels such as: N.O.I.A. Records, Italo Business, Evolution and many others. His first EP on N.O.I.A. records was very successful so that a track of the EP (Beat Active_Piatto remix) was immediately charted from Umek, Spektre, Roman Gertz and Dandi & Ugo and then goes on top techno on Beatport.com. After this collected another success with the track (Simple trust) released on Phobiq Music,gone on top techno on Beatport.com too. Nowadays he approached a house and tech house style and started various releases of this style.

Hollen’s tracks are played in the best clubs of the world and by international artists.

Biography

Radu F & Mikael, a duo formed by two young DJs/Producers, aged 17 and 18.
After almost a year of being on their own, period of time which brought them valuable experience, they formed this project, after realising they share the same sound. Thing are pretty much in fast-forward, in only 3 months from the beggining of this colaboration the two managed to sign with a series of labels, such as Wired(Enzo Siffredi) , Microtech Records(Ciprian Iordache & NSC) and Southpark Records (Kenny Ground).
The two are invited to some events in Bucharest but also in other cities throughout the country. They managed to be a part of a booking agency called Tech Factory Events, with whom they hope to leave an impression everywhere they play. 2011 brings the two a tight schedule, but they should be followed throughout the year, as they will acomplish great things.

Cristian was born on April 23,1989 in Bucharest, Romania.
He discovered the world of music at an early age, and quickly developed a HUGE passion for it.
In 2007 he started his career as a Resident DJ, behind the decks of one of Bucharest clubs.

Biography

Mario Miranda was born in San Jose, Costa Rica, In a Costa Rican-Cuban family in 1980. He started in music at the age of 14 playing the Drums. He studied Audio Engineer at Barcelona, Spain in the Microfusa Institute. In 2004 he started to produce music in Barcelona as well. Then after some years of experimenting samples and finishing some unreleased tracks, in 2007 Mario decides to contact Strike …Recordings (Alex Young) . Alex likes his style and releases his first track Limon EP, wich includes an Ahmet Sendil Remix. In that same year Mario releases “Cake EP”, this time in a bigger EP wich includes the Original Track and 5 remixes from, Carlo Lio, Andrea Roma, Ahmet Sendil, and others. Two remixes and the original track of this EP were in top dowloads in Beatport Charts. After this 2 EP’s Mario started working on more proyects with Ahmet Sendil, also for remixes for Stan Kolev and Dj Lion now with Bosphorus Underground Recordings. In this year Mario is co-working with Ahmet Sendil (Nominated for best
minimal artist, Beatport awards 2009) in many releases for Bosphorus Underground Recordings. Mario Miranda music is supported by: Ahmet Sendil, Alex Young, Stan Kolev, Dj Lion, Leeks, Federico Milani and others.

Experience In The Bands

After 2 years of playing drums he started his first band in 1996 called:Mod-Ska. The band grew fast and released their debut album in 1998 called “Hermanos”, there single got into the first positions in the local radios. After 4 years, Mario leaves the band and starts another proyect:Kadeho. By 2000 Kadeho releases their first album: “En Tierra Sukia”. Four singles were number one in Costa Rica, they also traveled to Mexico to a festival in Merida Yucatan. Then in 2003 the band released its second album “Hasta Que Vuelva a Amanecer”, they reached MTV Latinamerica with there single. Mario leaves the band in 2005 to make his own music proyect: Le* Pop, there debut cd: “Bendito Televisor”. Since that release Le*Pop has released 2 videos, both reaching MTV’s Latinamericas top ten, and catalogued as “The best independent Pop band In Latinamerica 2008” by MTV as well. This was right after the band got into a contest called “La Zona de Combate” by MTV, EMI and Smirnoff. The band won the contest between 2500 bands from Latinamerica. Now Mario is preparing the band’s 2nd album planned to be released by August 2009.
